I’m John Taylor. I’m a Fisheries
Biologist with Texas Parks & Wildlife and I’m going to talk to you today about
why I like to fish in cold weather. So some of the things I like about fishing
during the winter is that some of the biggest fish of the year are caught during the winter. Fish can be a little easier to target because they can tend to
congregate in places where you can find a little easier. The crowds aren’t as bad during the winter. We’ve got a lake to ourselves on
this beautiful day. And, you know the weather’s more bearable than
the heat of the Texas summer. You just put on a little bit of fleece and go to the
lake and have a great day.
