hello namaste salaamwalekum satsriyakaal; welcome back to another session with your VahChef at Vahrehvah.com. Today we’re going to
learn how to make ginger prawns this is a nice oriental influence ginger prawns. For this it’s very easy to make take soya sauce around one and half tablespoon of soya sauce this is light soy sauce in this add 1
tablespoon of green chili sauce, add 1 tablespoon of chili paste, pepper powder, crushed pepper powder, 1tsp of sugar and tomato puree you know just one teaspoon of tomato puree and also add 1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup maybe one and half teaspoon of tomato ketchup, add msg this is optional ok not too much and add salt, salt also
add little less because the chili sauce the soy sauce has salt and we will add more if we need to add and in this add some vinegar once this slurry is ready
we can go ahead and make the dish. For this preparation add some oil in a pan
and usually we add ginger and cook it but this one we’re going to have the
ginger flavor coming so i’m going to show you when you are so in this hot oil
add raw onion paste add garlic paste we’re going to cook this till the raw flavor
is gone and this mixture also become slightly dry, this onion is nicely cooked add finely chopped ginger wow and this is what will give the nice flavor; in this add the slurry of the mixture what we did whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo sweet hot tangy my god how many flavors are there
in this sauce if you want to make this like a gravy you can give the
consistency of a gravy consistency you can also make it dry just cook this little more time till the oil comes out and then add prawns and it will become nice and dry ginger prawns. This ginger masala is all ready now take some butter
in a pan this butter is all melted in this add
the prawns and you know just add the masala how much ever you want if you
want to make it gravy you can add more and add a little water also but today
i’m going to make it dry so I’m going to have this nice dry ginger prawns now after you add this ginger masala just let it cook on a slow flame and let the
juices come out and absorb some of this masala now look at this, this is fantastic and some of these shrimps are flying out of the pan also wow look at this nice dark this is a kind of a bar kind of the ginger prawns which you’ll find
in small little bars in Hyderabad just top it off with some chopped coriander and you’re done you know if you want you can also reduce the amount
of sugar instead of one teaspoon i added you can add half a teaspoon if you do
not like too much sweetness with the prawn but look at these what an aroma, what a flavor nice super super mm this is especially fantastic when you’re
