Chilled Chicken Rice, Anyone?

Grace: [In English] Basically once the chicken is cooked we will quench it in ice all the way until it’s served. It retains all the juices so the chicken is more succulent that way. It’s perfect for the Singapore weather when it’s so hot the cold chicken really hits the spot. G: [In English] Before I came, I was working in a large company we do research. The change is pretty drastic so it took me two years to actually get myself to come down here. Managing people who are older than you is particularly difficult. Also because I might be the youngest one in the stall right now so without any experience people will look at you in a different light. G: [In English] Sometimes when we ask her to go home to rest in the evening she will refuse to go home because she wants to hang around a bit longer.
